[Virtual Presenter] Welcome to this training. In this course we aim to introduce you to Bharti Project..
[Audio] We will briefly cover what Bharti Project is, and what's special about it. Moving on to the scope of work for the remote integration. Wrapping up with the tools that are supporting it and how. By the end we will show you all we have in store in this training series. Let's go!.
[Audio] So, what is Bharti project after all? Why is it so special? This project functions very similar to others, but due to very strict confidentiality agreements, there's a lot we can't disclose. Still, we aim to give this series a fair shot in introducing you to the Nokia mechanisms in place, and by the time we're finished, you're familiar with the overall process and tools. This is an ever-evolving project, and of course on the technological level this is reflected. While we still support legacy technologies such as GSM that is 2G, the project is also on the cutting edge. This means, a layer dense integration of LTE radio, as well as the first implementations of 5G..
[Audio] So, how does this ties into the scope of work? Like mentioned before, this is a layer dense network always evolving. The main scope of work for this project is, modernization. Meaning, the network sites are revisited and upgraded technological, with upgraded transmissions and new hardware, it's up to GSD to reconfigure this network on the remote site. Additionally, there will be coverage expansion sites, a fancy way to say, new sites. These will all have all the upgraded features built in, but they are few and far in between when compared with the modernization sites. Outside of the main scope, there will be plenty of side activities, some temporary, others more recurrent, as well as network wide implementations like IPsec, and other alike are always in the cards of the future. As well as new ways of working, with introductions like the Plug and Play feature, or PnP for short & SoftAT as well need to perform on any new hardware integrate by Nokia and also RET (remote electrical Tilt) need to configure..
[Audio] Along side all this, we rely heavy on the NetAct suite of applications. This is Nokia's intelligent network management for radio networks, that centralizes all the multiple technological layers into one. Of course, along side with the remote integrations. we have URSA (Universal Remote Site Automation) Tool. This tool is a use to perform ping test under ENDC task & crosscheck & update checkpoint under Soft AT Task, that makes to avoid manually login site for ping, and the reporting, seamless. With the team taking the final task of validating the results..
