Scene 1 (0s)

[Audio] Let me brief ENDC first, What is ENDC & why is required? ENDC mean E-UTRAN New Radio – Dual Connectivity ENDC is the technology that enables a 4G and 5G connection to occur at the same time. In the past, a change in network demand or availability typically resulted in a clunky transition between 3G and 4G. The device was forced to choose between one or the other. ENDC allows streams of LTE and 5G to flow simultaneously, ultimately increasing bandwidth and reducing service interruptions. Through dual connectivity, the 4G LTE network acts as an anchor band that is supplemented by 5G. When connected to a 5G modem, ENDC allows traffic requirements to determine whether an LTE connection is sufficient to transmit data or if the traffic should be passed to an available stream of 5G..

Scene 2 (1m 5s)

[Audio] ENDC Workflow , Once Media Ready from Customer End, they will inform to Circle to start process for EN-DC Enable on site, in this task Circle team share input to DB team for preparing XML for IPv6 definition on site, then DB Team share XML plan to RI Team for execution, RI Team Execute XML and share error logs with DB Team to identify the issue on XML fail sites then Ping Test perform after successfully XML executed sites, share feedback to Circle team & DB Team, then DB team prepare plan for Dual stack enable on Ping OK sites and Circle team recheck Media with customer on Ping Not OK. Again RI Team, Execute Dual stack Plan after that share post dump to DB team for audit purpose. DB Team share audit report with circle Team, then circle team share EN-DC enable plan to RI team to execute..

Scene 3 (2m 7s)

[Audio] There are 4 steps to Enable EN-DC on site & These all steps are complete in 3 to 4 days Step 1 : Define IPv6 /IPv4 for 5G and X2. Step 2 : Need to Ping test(Through URSA) Step 3 : Enable Dual Stack parameter on site Step 4 : Enable EN-DC parameter on site.

Scene 4 (2m 41s)

[Audio] So, In Step 1 ENDC implementation process, Need to Define IPv6 for 5G and X2. it is Non Outage activity but as we working on Live network. Therefore, we have to perform proper Precheck & Postcheck if found any outage in postcheck then immediately inform to circle Team, DB team & GDC Spoc and to try restore as soon as possible. Let's discuss on steps involve in IPv6 Definition Step 1 is to Create Working Set Step 2 is MO upload to working set from CM Operation with save configuration backup files Step 3 is to Take Pre-Alarm of working set from Monitor Step 4 is Take Precheck LNCEL administrative state of working set Step 5 is to Import XML in internal & then Execute in CM Operation, share error logs to DB team for RCA for plan Fail Site. Step 6 MO upload to working set from CM Operation without save configuration backup files Step 7 Take Postcheck LNCEL administrative state of working set & if LNCEL down then escalate to circle. Step 8 Take Post-Alarm of working set, if found new alarm 9047 then escalate to circle.

Scene 5 (4m 13s)

[Audio] Lets discuss on step 1 in details, DB Team share XML plan to RI Team for execution, RI Team Execute XML and share error logs with DB Team to identify the issue on XML fail sites Before executing plan need to perform precheck , for that need to create working set for planned sites 1. Create Working Set for precheck & post check in Working Set Manager under Administration option in Netact .After Click on Working Set Manager, then click on Create New, after that click on Enter managed Object DNs then paste the input DN of plan sites and give any unique Name to this Working set and then save it..

Scene 6 (4m 58s)

[Audio] In step 2 , need to Give MO upload to working set from CM Operation with save configuration backup files before XML Execution and after XML Execution give again MO upload to working set from CM Operation without save configuration backup files.

Scene 7 (5m 21s)

[Audio] In step 3, Take Pre Alarm & Post Alarm dump for planned sites that is working set from Monitor and check alarm ID 9047 on any new site, if found then escalate to Circle as Alarm ID -9047 NE3SWS AGENT NOT RESPONDING TO REQUESTS mean OAM link down with NetAct..

Scene 8 (5m 58s)

[Audio] In step 4, In CM Operation manager, Select Export Actual Configuration under File Tab Then select working set and under 5G/LTE/SRAN header select LNCEL & NRCELL to take Pre & post administrative state of CELL in UI value, so give the path to save cell status in .csv format with the supporting profile file then click on start..

Scene 9 (6m 26s)

[Audio] In step 5, Import XML in internal & then Execute in CM Operation Click on File in CM operation then select import provide the xml plan path and select internal values and then click on start to import file in netact Import XML in internal & then provision the plan in CM Operation..

Scene 10 (6m 52s)

[Audio] Select on backup and provision then start the plan, Once plan finished then share error logs to DB Team to find the Root cause of plan fail on particular site and escalate according to rectify the issue. And perform post check. Postcheck as similar as Pre-check.

Scene 11 (7m 18s)

[Audio] In second step ENDC implementation, IP Ping test – We have URSA Tool for ping test, we have standard Template for URSA Tool as input in which Mandatory inputs are circle, Site id, MRBTS, M-Plane IP and IPv6 details which need to ping. We need to ping from Source IP to Gateway IP & NR-SGW IP in 4G IP & We need to ping from 2 Source IP to Gateway IP & NR-SGW IP in 5G IP where Source IP & Gateway IP configured through XML plan which already Explain in pervious slide..

Scene 12 (8m 1s)

[Audio] Open the URSA Tool then Click on "Open Workitem" under File option then fill the details Customer , Technology , Network Element type, Market and Give any unique workitem Name in "Network Element wildcard" then submit. Then next to Browse input file, once all site import, it will show on left side then click on ADD ALL to shift site from left to right and then click on create Group , it will take some time to load..

Scene 13 (8m 31s)

[Audio] After sites Load in URSA then found all loaded sites Locked then click on "5G gNodeB Dual Stack ipv6 Configuration Bulk" under Task option.

Scene 14 (8m 43s)

[Audio] then click on Run All, it will execute all steps . Once all step executed then click on "view Workitem Directory" under File Tab to get the output file..

Scene 15 (9m 6s)

[Audio] In third step ENDC implementation, Dual stack parameter need to enable on site where Ping test is OK in pervious step. As per standard process, again need to follow steps before and after XML execution in network which is already explained in pervious step.

Scene 16 (9m 32s)

[Audio] In third step ENDC implementation, Dual stack need to enable 2 parameter on site FEATLADM & TRSNW..

Scene 17 (10m 11s)

[Audio] In fourth step of ENDC implementation, ENDC parameter need to enable on site where Dual Stack is successfully implemented sites in pervious step. As per standard process, again need to follow steps before and after XML execution in network which is already explained in pervious step.

Scene 18 (10m 36s)

[Audio] In fourth step of ENDC implementation, there are many xml received from circle which need to execute in mention sequence with proper Precheck & Post check. Once all xml implemented then share post dump after MO upload from CM operation..

Scene 19 (10m 56s)

[Audio] Thankyou.
