[Audio] Barangay Pag-as a's economy is primarily supported by fishing and commercial activities. Due to its proximity to Laguna de Bay, many residents engage in fishing as a livelihood. At the same time, the presence of small businesses, stores, and services within the barangay reflects its growing commercial sector..

[Audio] The history of Barangay Pag-as a began in 1986 when it was formally established through Ordinance No. 2, Series of 1986, signifying its recognition as an independent barangay in Binangonan, Rizal.

[Audio] In Barangay Pag-asa, we take pride in our youth's access to education. As of the latest estimates, we have around 2,653 elementary enrollees, aged 6 to 12 years old. Meanwhile, our high school students number around 2,000, continuing their education and preparing for their future careers.
