[Audio] Bank of India Started Core Banking Migration in the year 2004 and was among in few in adoption of latest I T technologies. Bank established own Data Centre in CBD Belapur and Disaster Recovery site at Bengluru. Later Bank migrated all its RRB branches and Foreign branches in Core Banking Centralized platform Finacle. To achieve zero R P O , bank established near D R site in Navi Mumbai. The Foundation layer of current I T Infrastructure of the Bank was laid when Core Banking platform was build. Bank has centralized I T Operation facility at CBD Belapur , B K C and D R Site Bengluru to support the distributed operation and B C P..

[Audio] All branches, offices of bank are securely connected to Bank Data Centres through M P L S V P N Network. All branches are provided with dual connectivity to Data Centres. We are upgrading the branch network to Software Defined WAN . This solution will improve the up time of the branches, improve application visibility and security posture of the bank..

[Audio] Three-tier data center networks were the generally recommended data center designs in the past. They worked very well when most of the traffic moved north to south, from outside the data center in, or vice versa. More than 70 percent of all traffic today moves from server to server, or what we consider east to west traffic. Modern applications require significantly more data to travel within a data center at faster speeds and are less forgiving about latency. However, traditional data centre networks were initially designed for resiliency and were concerned with speed into and out of the data center, not within it. [Audio] Bank build On-premise 3 tier Data Centre in the year 2004, and further expanded in year 2008- 09 and 2016- 17 . Started with CBS system, Mail system with server capacity of around 100 servers , now hosting more than 2300+ servers . The architecture was initial build for monolithic application. In year 2014- 15 bank started virtualization project Meghtara with initial work load of Mail system with approximately 100 servers , now hosting more than 1700+ servers in virtualized environment. At present apart from CBS Databases , all servers are hosted in Virtualized environment . The Major technologies are in use are VMWare, Nutanix, Cisco ACI, Oracle Solaris Virtualization etc.
