Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and performance problems in the navigation, communication and flight control systems. Assemble components, such as electrical controls and junction boxes, and install software. Install instrument panels, using hand tools, power tools, and soldering irons. Be comfortable replacing wiring and understand the dynamics and able read schematics of each aircraft wiring to safely carryout required work. Repair or replace malfunctioning components in timely manner with procedural compliance. You will be required to repair, replace, service, and overhaul aircraft electrical systems to ensure airworthiness. Keep proper records of maintenance and repair work performed on each aircraft type. You will be required to work in a safe and clean FOD free environment. You will be required to work safely with HAZMAT and comply with safety procedures surrounding the use and disposal of hazardous waste. Able to follow laid out company and FAA requirements for performing installations, repairs and maintenance of all electronic, navigation, flight control and communication components of each aircraft type..

Federal Aviation Administration license or Federal Communications Commission license as restricted radiotelephone operators. Previous work experience with aircraft electrical repair and with specific aircraft maintenance and repair manuals. Experience with systems such as NAV/COM/PULSE, Autopilot, GPS, and RVSM. Strong working knowledge of aviation safety practices and technology. An understanding of other aircraft systems, such as hydraulics and flight control. The ability to read and interpret blueprints.
