[Audio] Human Error Prevention The biggest hazard present on any construction site will always be the Human Factor. Because humans are fallible, we are likely to err. Here are some small practices to minimize those mistakes: STAR – Stop, Think, Act & Review Double Verification – if you are unsure, ask the question and get a second opinion. Procedure use and adherence – know your procedures and method statements and consult them to ensure you the correct thing in the correct sequence. Place keeping – use your sequence of works procedure (MS) and mark the steps down that is in progress and which ones are completed. This makes it better and easier for your peer to take over if a change of personnel is needed. This way you ensure that no steps are missed and the desired outcome is achieved..
[Audio] End of Induction Safety first – every task, every time If unsure – STOP and ASK Together, we build safely and responsibly.
