Now what should we do to make rupee appreciate imports cheaper. In the wake o pandemic we have realised the importance of Indian goods vs foreign goods And how can it boost our economy. What we should do to come out of the crisis. 1.We should measure currency against the gdp of the nation which currently stands at eighteen hundred lakh crore . As PM in his speech has said 10 percent of gdp i.e 20 lakh crore which has been set aside for enterpreneurs to replace imports. So remaining is 1800 lac crore which can be used for manufacturing all those products which we import through joint ventures. Banks may be financed to stimulate reverse repo rate cos of which interest rates of f.ds and bonds may be hiked bringingin more cash for banks,and fuelling economy..
