Athletic Training Overview. Work with athletes in “injury prevention, assessment, management, treatment, and rehabilitation” (Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 2021) Athletic Trainers (AT’s) are health care professionals who work alongside physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. (Washington State Athletic Trainers Association, 2021) The purpose of this video is to be informative about everything an undergraduate student should know if they want to pursue that career. For example, qualifications, schooling, extra observation hours, pre-requisties, etc..
