A n Anti-trafficking Center For Teenagers a nd Young People.
Four (4) underaged siblings were trafficked in year 2020. We got wind of it, but it was almost too late. We succeeded in rescuing all but lost one at the end of the day to the cold hands of death . We have a whole lots of other stories to share.
6. The Problem. Most teenagers and youths in Nigeria are vulnerable to human trafficking due to their dependency on others for their welfare, the teenagers are trusting and often cannot understand danger. The youths, because of the low level of employment in Nigeria are equally in danger and are easily targeted and manipulated for trafficking purposes. Human trafficking is a serious crime and persons are often exploited for labour, service provision or commercial sex purposes. Human trafficking affects negatively the individuals involved, their families and the community.
