The N2 Ardee to Castleblayney and N2 Clontibret to Border Road schemes aim to upgrade sections of the N2/A5 Dublin-Derry Road in Counties Monaghan and Louth.

The projects involve a partnership between Monaghan County Council, Louth County  Council and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).

The goal is to future-proof and improve these sections of road, with planned upgrades  over 32km between Ardee and Castleblayney and 28km between Clontibret and  the Northern Ireland border.
