[Audio] . Most influences on blood pressure can be understood in terms of their effect on cardiac output,systemic vascular resistance,. Cardiac output is the product of stroke volume and heart rate. Stroke volume is influenced by the end diastolic volume which is influenced by blood volume , cardiac contractility; and afterload. So In the short-term, the greater the blood volume, the higher the cardiac output..

[Audio] Beta blockers can be divided to selective and non selective. Beta 1 selective blockers again can be divided to pure and partial selective beta blockers. Pure beta blockers like atenolol , metoprolol, bisopeolol reduces cardiac out put and reduce blood pressure. Labetalol and carvedilol are non selective beta blockers which reduces Cardia outuput and systemic vascular resistence which leads to reduce blood pressure.

[Audio] Prazosin , Doxazosin are alpha 1 blocker which blocks the alpha 1 receptors on vascular epithelium and resuces the systemic vascular resistance . Advaerse drud reaction of these drug is postural hypertension..
