Scene 1 (0s)

[Audio] Good morning everyone, I'm very excited to tell you about my experience of making an interactive learning space on the Metaverse for my pupils in my digital media and public relations class. We had an amazing experience that gave us an appreciation of the possibilities of the Metaverse and how it can be utilised to make learning more interactive, educational, and enjoyable. I will be talking about the universities that have already taken on the Metaverse, and I will tell you all about my experience. Let's get started!.

Scene 2 (25s)

[Audio] Metaverse offers an incredible way to connect to people from all corners of the globe. Learners are excited and energized by the immersive 3D environment which makes learning more fun. Educators can take advantage of this virtual space by avatars in a classroom space, forming an engaging teaching atmosphere which opens the door to unprecedented educational opportunities. This makes the learning process appear more of a game, freeing students of the apprehension associated with a physical classroom. Students can observe, absorb knowledge, and socialize in the Metaverse..

Scene 3 (1m 5s)

[Audio] I noticed amazing interaction from my students working on Online Public Relations and graduation projects for digital media and public relations. They came from other departments to learn and participate in the experience on the Metaverse, and it has been truly satisfying seeing it come together. The feature of a Metaverse makes learning and problem-solving fun and effortless, while providing real-time feedback; further enhancing the learning experience. With AR/VR technology, universities have started using the “metaversity” concept to provide an immersive experience for the students. Among the top universities working in this domain, there are the University of Tokyo, the GDUT University, Mahindra University, Nanyang Technological University, Stanford University, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), New Mexico State University, University College London, University of Maryland Global Campus, and Sabancı University. Each of them has contributed to the development of Metaverse with their own research, courses and teaching. I would like to express my sincere thanks for your attention and for listening to me..
