Aerial Design
Rule 59: Reuse of existing poles
The OSP Designer shall optimize the number of poles. Existing poles shall be used to extend the
network of Feeder, Sub-Feeder/'Distribution and Drops. It is not allowed to dedicate a pole for a
network section. The existing poles shall be surveyed and verified on field. The OSP Designer
shall not rely on records alone when designing a network using existing poles
