Credentials are verified; a secure token is issued and stored.

The user’s role — Admin, Teacher, Student or Parent — travels with that token.

Protected routes check the role and load the matching dashboard.

Every screen a user sees is decided by their role at login — an Admin, Teacher, Student and Parent logging in at the same moment each land on a completely different, purpose-built dashboard, with no manual configuration required.

A dedicated service function (Axios) builds the request

Request is sent with a secure token attached automatically

The response updates shared application state

Every screen using that state re-renders instantly

Every request automatically carries the user’s login token — no page requires re-authentication.

If a session expires, the app safely returns the user to login instead of showing broken data.

Because state lives in one shared store, an update in one screen (e.g. Fees) is instantly reflected everywhere else it appears (e.g. the Admin dashboard).

Teacher generates a short-lived QR code; students scan to mark attendance in seconds, with duplicate-scan protection.

An optional future add-on for camera-based attendance — manual marking always remains available as a fallback.

The AI layer retrieves only data a user is already authorized to see — it never gains independent database access.
