[Audio] Hello everyone, Thank you for joining today. In this presentation, we'll be discussing the recent enhancements to our AP Disbursement Model..
[Audio] Previously, the AP Disbursement Model didn't include backward-facing details like Agreement, Procurement, Invoice transactions, or Commodity information. As a result, sites had to create multiple reports from different models and tables, which made the reporting process more complex and time-consuming. Now, the AP Disbursement Model has been enhanced to include Reference Agreement, Procurement, Invoice transactions, and Commodity fields directly in the Disbursement table. This enables clients to generate Vendor Disbursement and Procurement reports from a single model or data provider, streamlining the process and improving reporting efficiency..
[Audio] With this enhancement, several reference fields have been added to the Disbursement Fact Table, which greatly improve how clients can track and manage transactions. These new fields include: Agreement Transaction, Procurement Transaction, and Invoice Transaction: These fields help users track transactions more effectively, ensuring payments are accurately linked to the correct agreements and invoices. Referenced Transaction fields: These provide clear links between financial transactions, making it easier to audit and reconcile financial records. Commodity Code and Referenced Commodity Line: These fields provide detailed insights into commodity-level transactions, improving visibility into procurement activities and allowing clients to optimize spending by understanding cost allocations. Referenced Accounting Line: This helps ensure all transactions are properly linked to accounting entries, making reconciliation more streamlined and accurate..
[Audio] In this slide, we'll review the AP Disbursement Model Power BI Report, which showcases the new transaction reference columns added to enhance tracking and reporting. Key sections of the report include: Vendor/Customer and Transaction Details: Displays crucial transaction information like vendor ID, transaction code, and check/EFT numbers, providing a quick overview of each payment's details. Agreement and Invoice Details: Shows Agreement Transaction IDs, Invoice Transaction Codes, and Commodity Codes, helping users trace payments back to specific agreements and invoices for easier auditing and reconciliation. Commodity and Accounting Line Details: Provides a breakdown by commodity, including descriptions, quantities, and unit prices. This section allows users to drill down into procurement and cost allocation for better visibility into procurement activities. Summary of Disbursements: The bottom section summarizes the referenced liquidated amounts, making it easy to see total disbursements and key dates. This enhanced report structure allows users to generate comprehensive disbursement summaries with all necessary details in one view, simplifying financial analysis and transaction monitoring..
[Audio] For clients to take advantage of these enhancements, they will need to deploy the updated AP Disbursement Model. This update includes all the newly added reference fields and is necessary to begin using the new transaction tracking and reporting features..
[Audio] The enhancements to the AP Disbursement Model provide significant business value for clients in the following ways: Unified Reporting: Site users can now create a Vendor Disbursement report that includes Procurement, Invoice, and Commodity information, all from one Semantic model/data provider—eliminating the need to pull data from multiple sources. Improved Report Performance: With the use of one data provider, clients will experience faster report generation and improved reporting performance. Increased Efficiency: Clients benefit from greater efficiency in reporting, auditing, and reconciliation processes, as the new model reduces manual work and simplifies tracking. Better Financial Control: Enhanced financial visibility and control over procurement and transaction costs help clients make more informed decisions, optimize spending, and improve overall cost management..
