[Audio] Firstly, the election for two Trustees is scheduled for Thursday, 7 December 2023. Mark this important date on your calendar..

[Audio] Nominations open on Monday, 2 October 2023, and close at 12 noon on Thursday, 2 November 2023. Make sure to submit your nominations within this period.. 

Scene 4

Nominations commence on Monday, 2nd October 2023. It is important to take note of this start date to ensure you get ample time to prepare and submit.

Thursday, 2nd November 2023, marked at 12 noon, is the deadline for submission. Just like any election, late nominations are deemed as invalid. Plan ahead to avoid a last-minute rush.

[Audio] You can get your nomination papers in two ways: by emailing info@electionservices.co.nz or by calling 0800 922 822..

You can opt to get your nomination papers sent to your inbox by sending an email to management at info@electionservices.co.nz.

Alternatively, you can have the papers sent to your postal address by making a simple phone call to 0800 922 822.

Nomination papers are where you show your intent to participate in the Trustee election. In them, you provide your details and commit to serving if elected.

Ensure to send the filled papers back to Election Services before the end of the nomination period. That is, before 12 noon on Thursday, 2 November 2023.

[Audio] o be eligible, you must be a member aged 20 or over, meet the Charities Act 2005 requirements, and be nominated by a TWR of TTB3 Trust..

Candidates must meet the Charities Act 2005 requirements.

Candidates must be nominated by a Tūpuna Whānau Representative of Te Tii (Waitangi) B3 Trust.

[Audio] Along with your nomination form, you may submit a personal statement of up to 150 words and a recent photograph..

Along with your nomination, you may wish to submit a personal profile, limited to 150 words.

You can also provide a recent photo of yourself. This photo will be used on voting slips and other election-related materials.

Including a statement and photo provides an opportunity to create a stronger rapport with voters and present your candidacy more effectively.

[Audio] All nominations must be received by 12 noon on Thursday, 2 November 2023. Don't miss this deadline..

Remember, all nominations must be submitted by 12 noon on Thursday, 2nd November 2023. Late submissions will be disqualified. Adhering to timelines is crucial as it enhances the fairness and integrity of the election. It also ensures the election process can proceed as planned. Think of it as an opportunity to practice the punctuality and responsibility expected of a Trustee.

First, all the received nominations are verified. This ensures only eligible candidates make it to the voting process.

In case more than two nominations are received, voting opens on Thursday, 9th November 2023. This is when the trust members exercise their democratic right.

After the voting process, votes are counted by an appointed body ensuring transparency and integrity.

Once validated, the results are made public. The two nominees with the most votes earn the Trustee positions.
