మన వాళ్ల కోసం A Prabhas × Gopichand Family Entertainer Backdrop: Rajamahendravaram & the Godavari The Godavari is not just a river in Rajamahendravaram. For the people who live beside it, the Godavari is a mother, a memory, a livelihood, and a witness to generations of family stories. On its banks stands an enormous ancestral house surrounded by coconut trees, paddy fields, mango gardens, and old stone pathways. Every morning, the sound of temple bells mixes with the sound of boats moving across the river. Every evening, families gather on the ghats, children fly kites, and the golden sunlight falls across the Godavari like a painting. This is where our story begins. CHAPTER 1 — THE GODAVARI FAMILY The Venkata Rao family is one of the most respected families in Rajamahendravaram. For three generations, they have owned agricultural lands along the Godavari and have helped local farmers whenever floods, droughts, or financial problems affected them. At the heart of the family are two brothers. Aditya, played by Prabhas, is the younger brother. He is charming, fearless, mischievous, and loved by almost everyone in the town. He has a habit of turning even serious situations into comedy. If someone asks him when he will become responsible, he always gives the same answer: “Responsibility ante naaku allergy.” Aditya spends his time helping his friends, riding through the city, enjoying the Godavari, teasing his relatives, and getting into harmless trouble. His elder brother Raghav, played by Gopichand, is completely different. Raghav is disciplined, respected, and serious about the family's responsibilities. He manages the agricultural lands, looks after the workers, settles village disputes, and takes care of their mother and extended family. 1.
Everyone calls Raghav the backbone of the family. Aditya calls him something else. “Family manager.” Their relationship is full of love but also endless arguments. One morning, Raghav finds Aditya sleeping on the terrace. “Rey Aditya! Morning 10 ayindi!” Aditya opens one eye. “Godavari kuda slow ga flow avtundi anna. Nuvvu enduku antha hurry?” Raghav gets angry. Aditya immediately smiles. “Okay, okay. Five minutes.” “Every day five minutes!” “Five minutes is my lifestyle.” The entire family laughs. Even Raghav cannot control his smile. CHAPTER 2 — THE FAMILY'S SECRET Their father, Venkata Rao, died several years earlier. Before his death, he made one promise. A large portion of the family's Godavari land would never be sold. Instead, it would remain available for the village. The family would use the land to support farmers, provide employment, and eventually build a school and hospital. Raghav has protected that promise ever since. 2.
Aditya never understood why his brother was so obsessed with the land. One day he asks, “Anna, manaki already chaala land undi. Ee piece kosam enduku inni problems?” Raghav answers, “Adi land kaadu.” “What then?” “Mana nanna maata.” Aditya becomes silent. But he still doesn't completely understand. CHAPTER 3 — THE RETURN OF THE ENEMY A powerful businessman named Vikram Varma returns to Rajamahendravaram. He has a massive plan. He wants to develop the Godavari riverfront into a luxury commercial zone with resorts, shopping centers, private villas, and a large entertainment complex. But there is one problem. The Venkata Rao family's land stands directly in the middle of his proposed project. Vikram approaches Raghav with an enormous offer. Raghav refuses. Vikram smiles. “Everyone has a price.” Raghav replies, “Na family ki undochu. Kaani maa nanna maata ki price ledu.” Vikram's smile disappears. 3.
He realizes Raghav will not surrender. So he changes his strategy. Instead of attacking the family directly, he begins creating divisions among them. He convinces distant relatives that Raghav is secretly planning to sell the land. He spreads rumors that Aditya is wasting the family's money. He creates arguments between cousins. Slowly, the happy family begins to crack. CHAPTER 4 — ADITYA'S WORLD Meanwhile, Aditya has his own story. He is loved by the younger generation of Rajamahendravaram. He knows every street, every tea shop, every boatman, every farmer, and almost every local troublemaker. He has a special relationship with the Godavari. Whenever he feels confused, he goes to the river. One evening, he meets Sravani, a cheerful young woman who runs a small educational initiative for village children. She is intelligent, independent, and completely unimpressed by Aditya's attitude. Aditya tries to impress her. “Naaku Rajamahendravaram motham telusu.” She points toward the river. “Godavari lo entha depth undo telusa?” Aditya pauses. “Approximately…” She laughs. 4.
“Neeku life lo confidence ekkuva, knowledge takkuva.” Their relationship develops through playful arguments. Sravani slowly discovers that beneath Aditya's carefree personality is someone deeply attached to his family. CHAPTER 5 — THE GODAVARI FESTIVAL Sankranthi arrives. Rajamahendravaram transforms. The streets are filled with rangoli, flowers, traditional decorations, music, kite competitions, food stalls, and family gatherings. The Venkata Rao house becomes the center of celebration. Aditya organizes a huge family event. He brings together relatives who haven't spoken to each other for years. He arranges a traditional game competition. He challenges Raghav. Raghav refuses. Aditya announces loudly: “Anna ki fear!” Raghav immediately accepts. The entire family cheers. Their competition becomes the funniest event of the festival. Aditya cheats. Raghav catches him. Aditya says, “Winning kosam strategy.” 5.
Raghav replies, “Strategy kaadu. Mosam.” Everyone laughs. For a brief moment, the family is united again. But Vikram Varma watches from a distance. He knows the family is strongest when they are together. So he decides to destroy that unity. CHAPTER 6 — THE ATTACK Late that night, Vikram's men attack one of the family's agricultural warehouses. Raghav receives a call. He rushes there. Aditya follows. Raghav finds several workers injured and the warehouse burning. He becomes furious. Aditya stops him. “Anna… kopam tho fight cheyyaku.” Raghav looks at him. “Then?” Aditya removes his watch. “Teamwork tho cheddam.” The brothers fight together. Raghav is precise and controlled. Aditya is unpredictable and energetic. 6.
Their fighting styles are completely different, but together they are extremely effective. After the fight, one of the attackers reveals something disturbing. Someone inside the family has been giving Vikram information. There is a traitor. CHAPTER 7 — THE BROTHERS BREAK Suspicion falls on one of their cousins. Raghav believes the cousin betrayed them. Aditya disagrees. For the first time, the brothers have a serious argument. Raghav says, “Nuvvu evarni nammina nammu. Kaani family ni protect cheyyadam naa responsibility.” Aditya responds, “Family ni protect cheyyadam nee responsibility kaadu anna. Mana responsibility.” Raghav becomes angry. “Neeku responsibility ante enti telusa?” Aditya is hurt. “Teliyadu ani anukuntunnav kada?” He walks away. For the first time in their lives, the brothers stop speaking. CHAPTER 8 — THE FATHER'S LETTER Their grandmother reveals an old secret. Their father had left a letter for both brothers. She gives it to Aditya. 7.
The letter says: “Raghav will protect the family with responsibility. Aditya will protect it with courage. But neither of them can protect it alone.” Aditya becomes emotional. The letter continues: “One day, you may fight because you are different. When that happens, remember that you are not two sons. You are two halves of the same family.” Aditya realizes his mistake. He goes to Raghav. The brothers stand silently near the Godavari. Aditya says, “Anna…” Raghav doesn't turn. “Cheppu.” “I was angry.” “Naaku telusu.” “Sorry.” Raghav finally looks at him. “Naaku kuda sorry.” They embrace. No dramatic dialogue is needed. The river speaks for them. CHAPTER 9 — THE REAL TRUTH The brothers investigate the land documents. 8.
They discover something shocking. The land isn't merely ancestral property. Their father had registered it as a community trust, but the original registration document disappeared years ago. Without that document, Vikram can legally challenge the family's claim. The brothers learn that the original document may have been stored inside an old temple archive near the Godavari. They travel there. The journey becomes a mixture of adventure and comedy. Aditya wants to take a car. Raghav insists on a boat. Aditya complains, “Boat lo AC unda?” Raghav stares at him. “Godavari lo breeze undi.” Aditya smiles. “Okay. Nature AC.” They reach the temple. But Vikram's men are already there. A massive confrontation takes place around the temple and riverside. The brothers manage to escape with the document. But Vikram has already prepared his final move. CHAPTER 10 — THE VILLAGE DIVIDES Vikram calls a public meeting. 9.
He tells the villagers that the Venkata Rao family is stopping development. He promises jobs, roads, businesses, and money. Some villagers support him. Others support Raghav. The village becomes divided. Raghav doesn't fight them. Instead, he asks everyone one question: “Development manaki kavali. Kaani mana identity pogottukoni development enduku?” Aditya steps forward. He proposes a different plan. The family will not sell the land. Instead, they will use it to build: A modern hospital A school A farmers' training center A local market A skill-development center Affordable housing for workers A riverfront public park The villagers begin to understand. They don't have to choose between tradition and development. They can have both. CHAPTER 11 — THE FINAL CONFRONTATION Vikram refuses to accept defeat. He attempts to forcefully take control of the land. The final confrontation takes place during a massive storm on the Godavari. • • • • • • • 10.
Rain pours down. The river rises. The village is flooded. Instead of fighting Vikram immediately, Aditya and Raghav focus on saving the villagers. They use boats to rescue families. Raghav organizes the older villagers. Aditya risks his life to save children trapped inside a flooded building. Vikram watches everything. For the first time, he understands why the villagers respect the brothers. They don't own the village. They belong to it. Eventually, Vikram is exposed for his illegal activities. The police arrest him. The land is officially protected as community property. CHAPTER 12 — THE NEW BEGINNING One year later, the old ancestral property looks completely different. A beautiful community campus now stands there. The school is filled with children. The hospital serves farmers and villagers. Young people train at the skill center. The local market supports small businesses. And the Godavari continues to flow beside everything. At the inauguration ceremony, Raghav gives a speech. 11.
“This land was given to our family by our father.” He looks at the villagers. “But today, we are giving it back to the people.” The crowd applauds. Aditya walks onto the stage. He looks at his brother. “Anna… speech chaala serious ga undi.” Everyone laughs. Raghav smiles. Aditya continues: “Family ante same blood undadam kaadu.” He looks toward the crowd. “Kashtam vachinappudu pakkana nilabadatam.” He looks at Raghav. “Manam kalisi unte… mana family ni evaru break cheyyaleru.” The entire family comes onto the stage. Their mother hugs both brothers. Sravani stands beside Aditya. Children run through the courtyard. The evening sun turns the Godavari golden. FINAL SANKRANTHI CELEBRATION The film ends during another Sankranthi. Rajamahendravaram is covered in lights. 12.
The Godavari bridge shines in the distance. Kites fill the sky. The ancestral house is full of relatives. Music plays. Aditya challenges Raghav to another competition. Raghav says, “Last time cheating chesav.” Aditya smiles. “Ee sari honest ga cheat chestha.” Everyone bursts into laughter. Raghav chases him through the courtyard. The entire family joins the fun. Finally, Aditya and Raghav stand together on the riverbank. Raghav asks, “Happy ga unnava?” Aditya looks at the family behind them. “Family motham ikkada undi.” He smiles. “Naaku inka em kavali?” The camera slowly moves away. The two brothers stand beside the Godavari as fireworks illuminate the night sky. The final image is of the river flowing peacefully past Rajamahendravaram. And the final line appears: 13.
“ఇల్ల ఒక చోట… కటంబం ఒక బంధం… కానీ మన వాళ్ల కోసం నిలబడే మనసే అసలైన కటంబం.” THE END 14.
