1903 – Name changed to Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service QAIMNS (I).

1914-Temporary Indian Nursing Service was est 1915- 60 Indian Temporary Nurses apptd. 1918- TINS discontinued..

1924 - Interim Establishment with 55 nurses formulated.

Permanent Indian Nursing Service. 01 Oct 1926- Permanent Nsg Service (IMNS) est. Consists of Matrons 12 Sisters 18 Staff Nurses 25 1940 - Str 177 against 313 IMNS (temp) est.
