Scene 1 (0s)

[Virtual Presenter] Welcome, everyone, to the first slide of our CLM readiness training. Throughout this series, we will delve into the crucial elements of preparing for CLM implementation. Through our exploration of fundamental concepts and effective strategies, we aim to provide you with the necessary knowledge and tools to smoothly transition to CLM. Let's begin our journey towards CLM readiness..

Scene 2 (26s)

[Audio] Slide number 2 of our presentation focuses on CLM Readiness. We will be discussing how CLM Readiness can drive operational efficiency and streamline implementation time. CLM, or Contract Lifecycle Management, is a crucial tool for organizations. However, its effectiveness depends on the processes and templates it automates. This is where CLM readiness comes in. Our company, Consilio, offers various CLM readiness activities to ensure a successful implementation. We understand that every organization has unique needs, and our team is equipped to meet those specific requirements. One key factor for CLM success is process readiness, which involves analyzing and improving current processes to align them with the CLM system. Automating sub-par or outdated processes will not lead to the desired results. Another important aspect of CLM readiness is template readiness. Our team can assist with designing and implementing templates tailored to your organization's needs. By ensuring template readiness, we can guarantee that the CLM system will be fully optimized. In conclusion, CLM readiness is crucial for a successful implementation. By working with Consilio and conducting these readiness activities, organizations can greatly improve their chances of success and benefit from increased operational efficiency. Thank you for your attention, and we look forward to exploring more about CLM readiness in the rest of our presentation..

Scene 3 (2m 5s)

[Audio] Our focus for slide number 3 will be on Process Readiness and the standard methodology used for it. The purpose of this step is to identify any inefficiencies and opportunities that may exist within the company. This may be the first time that these processes are being documented, particularly with a new technology implementation. By doing this, we can also identify potential risks and work towards mitigating them. The main goal is to design more effective "To-Be" processes, which will streamline and improve the company's operations, leading to greater success. The process begins with evaluating the current "as-is" processes, carefully examining each step and identifying any gaps, inefficiencies, or potential areas for improvement. Technology plays a crucial role in streamlining and automating certain processes. Next, we design and document the "To-Be" processes with the insights gained from the previous step and taking into consideration the end users' requirements. This ensures that the new processes are not only more efficient, but also more user-friendly and tailored to the company's specific needs. By following this standard approach, we can achieve process readiness and pave the way for a more efficient and successful company..

Scene 4 (3m 27s)

[Audio] In this section, we will discuss the standard approach for optimizing templates to support digitization in the CLM Readiness training. The first step is to determine which templates need to be digitized. Then, we identify where these templates are currently stored and who uses them. This information is crucial for the consolidation process. Consolidation opportunities are essential to ensure efficiency and minimize errors. During this process, we identify any duplicate or multiple versions of the same document and consolidate them into one master document. This not only saves time, but also makes it easier to maintain and automate these templates in the future. However, template optimization is not just about consolidating documents. We also consider opportunities to harmonize language and clauses across templates. This creates a more consistent language and terminology across all documents, making it easier to understand and navigate through the templates. After identifying which templates need to be digitized, consolidated, and harmonized, the next step is to restructure, reformat, and reword them. This is a crucial step in supporting digitization and ensuring that the templates are in line with best practices. In cases where contract playbooks do not exist, we also consider creating them. Contract playbooks outline preferred practices and standard clauses to ensure consistency in drafting and negotiating contracts. We may also prepare fallback language and accompanying guidance to provide additional support during contract negotiations. The benefits of optimizing templates are significant. By reducing unnecessary contract variants, we can also reduce implementation costs and complexity. With fewer documents and clauses to digitize, maintain, and automate, the process becomes more streamlined and efficient. Additionally, identifying gaps where additional or updated templates may be needed helps us ensure that all necessary documentation is in place. We do all of this to support digitization and make the process smoother and more efficient. Specifically, we identify templates, consolidate them, and harmonize language and clauses. The end goal is to support digitization and maximize the benefits it brings to the organization. With that, we move on to the next step..

Vendor Selection Process.

Scene 6 (6m 8s)

[Audio] On slide number 6 of our CLM Readiness training video, we will discuss the vendor selection process and its importance in the ever-changing landscape of Contract Lifecycle Management. Our consulting team at Consilio offers expert knowledge and guidance to help clients select the best vendors for their specific CLM needs. The vendor selection process is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation of CLM, maximizing its benefits for your organization. Now, let's move on to the final slide of our training video..

Scene 7 (6m 44s)

[Audio] This training video on the Vendor Selection Process aims to provide a complete understanding of the process for selecting a vendor. In this final slide, we will discuss the key steps involved in this process. The Vendor Selection Process, outlined in Slide 7, is critical to any organization's readiness for Contract Lifecycle Management. It involves a series of carefully planned and executed steps to ensure that the chosen vendor is the best fit for the client's needs. The first step is to hold workshops with the client to gain a thorough understanding of their challenges, use cases, and overall requirements. This step allows for a clear understanding of what the client is seeking in a CLM solution. Next, a detailed guidance document is drafted for the vendors, outlining specific requirements for their demonstration. This ensures that the demos are tailored to meet the individual needs of the client. Once the vendor demonstrations have been arranged, the results are evaluated and a recommendation report is prepared based on the demonstrated functionalities and the client's requirements. This helps in identifying the most suitable vendors for the client. As support in this evaluation process, a customized vendor assessment scorecard is created to outline all the CLM solution requirements. This allows for tracking of the vendor's performance and an informed decision to be made. Some of the vendors that have been worked with in the past include Agiloft, IronClad, and Sirion. These are just a few examples of the many reputable and trusted vendors that are partnered with. We appreciate you taking the time to watch this training video on the Vendor Selection Process and hope that it has provided a better understanding of the steps involved in selecting the right vendor for your CLM readiness. Thank you for your time and we look forward to the opportunity to work with you in the future..
