Scene 3 (26s)

[Audio] Selling Is Serving — When You Truly Believe. All businesses involve some form of selling. Whether you're offering a product, a service, or your expertise, success comes down to one key factor: how well you can communicate its value. But the real secret? You can't effectively sell what you don't fully believe in. Knowledge builds credibility. Belief fuels confidence. When you *own* your service in your heart — when you understand the science, the art, and the transformation behind microcurrent — you're no longer pitching a product. You're sharing truth. You're transferring belief. That's what clients feel. This seminar gives you the clarity, conviction, and confidence to speak about microcurrent anti-aging from a place of truth and heart..

Scene 4 (1m 12s)

[Audio] The VenturaDesigns Difference: Every company has one or more electrical engineers as part of the design team. But an EE is not taught human physiology, anatomy or biochemistry. You MUST know WHY, and not just HOW. Dr. Ventura is a trained health care professional with hundreds of classroom hours in physiology, anatomy, physics and biochemistry. He understands the WHY, and that makes all the difference in designing machines and developing techniques. Step One. Visualize on a blackboard everything you have ever learned about microcurrent for facial rejuvenation. Now Erase It!!!!!!.

Scene 9 (3m 51s)

[Audio] Understanding Micro-Trauma. Techniques in Facial Treatments. Why Even Flawed Methods Sometimes Produce Visible Results, temporarily..

Scene 10 (4m 2s)

[Audio] The Face-Slapping Trend. • A Japanese practice involves repeated slapping of the client's face to reduce wrinkles. • The apparent tightening effect is due to localized inflammation and swelling. • These results are temporary—wrinkles reappear once inflammation subsides..

Scene 11 (4m 22s)

[Audio] The Role of Micro-Trauma. • Many clinicians see improvement even using flawed techniques. • Repetitive wand movements or manual manipulations (Gloves) can cause minor micro-trauma. • This triggers an inflammatory response that momentarily plumps the skin..

Scene 12 (4m 41s)

[Audio] Imagine the Results With Correct Technique. • Microcurrent is capable of profound effects—when used correctly. • Proper protocols avoid trauma and stimulate lasting cellular repair. • Combining science with precision can elevate outcomes beyond temporary fixes..

Scene 13 (4m 59s)

[Audio] Definition 13 "Microcurrent therapy is based on the evidence that micro amperage currents closely approximate the naturally occurring bioelectric currents in the body and therefore effectively augment the body's tissue healing and repair." Peter Lathrop, PhD..

Scene 14 (5m 22s)

[Audio] Understanding Electricity: Volts, Amps, and Resistance. Using the Water Tower Analogy..

Scene 15 (5m 30s)

[Audio] 🔋 Volts = Water Pressure. • Voltage is like the height of a water tower. • The higher the tower, the more pressure it creates. • Volts push the electrical current through a circuit..

Scene 16 (5m 44s)

[Audio] 🌊 Amps = Flow of Water. • Amps measure the actual amount of electricity flowing. • Like water flowing through a pipe, more amps mean more flow. • Determined by both voltage and resistance..

Scene 17 (5m 56s)

[Audio] Resistance = Narrow Pipe. • Resistance opposes the flow of current. • Like a narrow pipe slows water flow, resistance limits amps. • Measured in ohms (Ω)..

Scene 18 (6m 9s)

VOLTS Water Pressure AMPS Flow of Water RESISTANCE Narrow Pipe.

Scene 19 (6m 15s)

[Audio] 0.3 Hz Microcurrent with 50% Duty Cycle. Understanding Pulse Duration in Sub-Sensory Current Delivery..

Scene 20 (6m 25s)

[Audio] Waveform: 0.3 Hz with 50% Duty Cycle. A duty cycle in an electrical pulse refers to the percentage of time that a signal is "on" (active or high) during a complete cycle of its waveform..

Scene 21 (6m 47s)

[Audio] What This Means • Frequency = 0.3 Hz → One full cycle every 3.33 seconds. • 50% Duty Cycle = Current is ON for 50% of each cycle. Result: Current stays ON for 1.67 seconds, then OFF for 1.67 seconds. This creates a long, gentle pulse that supports ATP production and fibroblast activation without overstimulation..

Scene 22 (7m 20s)

[Audio] 1974 Dr. Wing Invents Accu-O- Matic. Named after combining "Acupuncture" and "Automatic" First clinical microcurrent device • (1976) 22.

Scene 23 (7m 35s)

[Audio] Pioneer of Modern Microcurrent Therapy. Dr. Thomas W. Wing, D.C., N.D., L.Ac., was a visionary chiropractor, naturopath, and licensed acupuncturist who transformed electrotherapy with his innovations in microcurrent stimulation. • Developed the first waveform-modulated microcurrent device. • Advocated sub-sensory microamp current for healing. • Created the Tsunami waveform for enhanced tissue repair. • Integrated electro-acupuncture with Western bioelectric principles. Established the parameters of True Microcurrent..

Scene 24 (8m 13s)

[Audio] Clinical Applications. • Pain relief and nerve regeneration. • Muscle re-education and rehabilitation. • Facial toning and anti-aging treatments. • Electro-acupuncture without needles. Dr. Wing's work laid the foundation for modern microcurrent therapy. Today, principles he introduced—low microamperage, waveform precision, and frequency-specific treatment—define the standard for high-quality microcurrent devices..

Scene 25 (8m 41s)

[Audio] True Microcurrent™: A Legacy of Healing & Beauty. Why the Original Recipe Still Matters. - 1950s–60s: Pioneered for healing wounds and regenerating tissue. - 1970s: Adopted by chiropractors and therapists for pain relief. - 1980s: Entered esthetics for facial rejuvenation and lifting. - 1990s–2000s: FDA-cleared devices for beauty and clinical use. - Today: Trusted for non-invasive anti-aging — if done right..

Scene 26 (9m 18s)

[Audio] The Recipe for True Microcurrent™. To get real results, you need the real formula: Constant Current Generator. Slowly Alternating Current. 0.1Hz to 999Hz Frequency Range. 1–750 Microamp Output. Modified Square Wave Signal. 50% Duty Cycle. Enough Voltage to Overcome Skin Resistance..

Scene 27 (9m 45s)

[Audio] Like a Toll House Cookie Recipe… Miss just one ingredient — it's no longer the original. - No chocolate chips? Not Toll House. - No modified square wave? Not True Microcurrent. - Wrong frequency or output? Results suffer. Precision matters in both baking and bioelectric therapy..

Scene 28 (10m 6s)

[Audio] Most Devices Don't Follow the Recipe. Many companies market "microcurrent," but cut corners on: - Current type. - Signal waveform. - Output strength. - Frequency range. Result: They call it microcurrent. But it's not True Microcurrent..

Scene 29 (10m 23s)

[Audio] VenturaDesigns Delivers the Original Recipe. ✔ Handcrafted in the USA. ✔ Built on decades of clinical research. ✔ Delivers True Microcurrent – every time. Experience the power of precision. Experience VenturaDesigns..

Scene 30 (10m 42s)

[Audio] Arndt- Schulz Law 30 Weak stimuli increase physiological activity, moderate stimuli inhibit it, and strong stimuli halt it." This principle guides how biological tissues respond to varying levels of stimulation. This principle guides how biological tissues respond to varying levels of stimulation..

Scene 31 (11m 6s)

[Audio] Microcurrent & Arndt-Schultz. • Microcurrent operates in the microamp range (10–600μA). • Stimulates ATP production, collagen synthesis, healing response. • Works within the 'weak stimulus' range — promotes cell function. • Non-invasive, bio-compatible, enhances regeneration..

Scene 32 (11m 30s)

[Audio] Why Less Is More. • High currents (TENS/EMS) can suppress ATP activity. • Can fatigue muscles or cause irritation. • Microcurrent supports function at the cellular level. • Validates the effectiveness of sub-sensory stimulation..

Scene 33 (11m 46s)

[Audio] Microcurrent & ATP: The Science Behind Facial Rejuvenation. Why Microcurrent is the True Alternative to Botox..

Scene 34 (11m 56s)

[Audio] What Is ATP? ATP = Adenosine Triphosphate. Primary energy currency of cells. Powers repair, regeneration, and protein synthesis. Essential for skin, muscle, and nerve health..

Scene 35 (12m 17s)

[Audio] How Microcurrent Stimulates ATP. Delivers ultra-low electrical currents (10–600 µA). Mimics body's natural bioelectric signals (Lathrop, Becker, Cheng). Stimulates mitochondria to boost ATP production. Cheng Study: Up to 500% increase in ATP..

Scene 36 (12m 39s)

[Audio] Benefits of ATP for Facial Rejuvenation. Firms skin by boosting collagen. Increases elasticity via elastin production. Improves circulation for better glow. Reduces puffiness through lymphatic drainage. Tones facial muscles—non-invasive lift..

Scene 37 (13m 0s)

[Audio] Microcurrent vs. Botox. Botox: Paralyzes muscles temporarily. Microcurrent: Tones & relaxes muscles as needed. Botox can lead to atrophy. Microcurrent builds natural lift & expression..

Scene 38 (13m 17s)

[Audio] Boost Results with AXION Serums. Extreme Serum – Collagen & elastin support. OAM – Monthly plant stem cell serum. Duo Serum – Daily use around eyes with Wave Eye. Microcurrent increases absorption of active ingredients by increasing circulation and by driving ions deeper..

Scene 39 (13m 39s)

[Audio] Conclusion: Why Microcurrent? Corrective, not suppressive. Natural, regenerative anti-aging. Re-educates facial muscles for lasting lift. Supports healthy skin from the inside out. A true alternative to Botox..

Scene 40 (13m 58s)

[Audio] Points to Remember. ATP is the power supply for the cell. ATP is rapidly depleted after injury. Microcurrent can increase local ATP production by up to 500% if the parameters are correct. Thus, microcurrent can enhance healing by sending a "Current of Healing" through the injured area. 40.

Scene 41 (14m 23s)

[Audio] Proving Microcurrent(Phosphene Reaction). Passing microcurrent across the eye produces a phosphene reaction, causing a "flash" inside the eyes. This is the exact reaction of rubbing your eyes and seeing flashes. Flashing rate is the same as the frequency you set. NOTE: The flashing will occur at levels above 400 microamps and not everyone experiences the effect. Optimum frequency is 5-10Hz..

Scene 42 (14m 55s)

[Audio] Why Common Microcurrent Techniques Fall Short. A Physiological Reality Check. "I Tried Microcurrent. It's Just Didn't Work.".

Scene 43 (15m 5s)

[Audio] The Flawed Assumptions. • Belief: Stimulating facial muscle bellies can 're-educate' or strengthen muscles. • Reality: Muscle strengthening requires load—not manual stroking or microcurrent. • Many facial muscles attach to skin, not bone-to-bone, making loading impossible. • Microcurrent in the microamp range is too low to cause contraction..

Scene 44 (15m 28s)

[Audio] Facial Muscle Anatomy Matters. • Most facial muscles have only one bony attachment. • The other end inserts into skin or soft tissue. • No stable anchor = no effective loading = no strengthening..

Scene 45 (15m 45s)

[Audio] Microcurrent: Strength and Function. • Microcurrent delivers therapeutic signals (microamps), not contractile force. • Used for ATP production, regeneration—not muscle stimulation. • True contraction requires milliamps, not microamps. Microcurrent CAN stimulate tone through the influence of the Golgi Tendon Organ in the tendons of each muscle..

Scene 46 (16m 13s)

[Audio] Respecting Science Over Tradition. • Schools often teach outdated, non-scientific methods. • Modern protocols must honor anatomy and physiology. • Results come from accurate stimulation—not muscle myths..

Scene 47 (16m 30s)

[Audio] A Better Approach to Microcurrent. • Focus on stimulating fibroblasts (collagen/elastin). • Improve circulation and hydration. • Promote tissue repair and ATP production. • Use clinically valid protocols aligned with real biology..

Scene 48 (16m 47s)

[Audio] Therapeutic Waveforms. Accurate Waveform Representations and Their Uses in Microcurrent Therapy.

Scene 49 (16m 57s)

[Audio] Accurate Waveform Comparison Chart.. Accurate Waveform Comparison Chart..

Scene 50 (17m 4s)

[Audio] Primary Uses of Common Waveforms. • Modified Square Wave – Ideal for microcurrent therapy and ATP stimulation. • Sine Wave – Used for muscle relaxation and gentle stimulation. • Triangle Wave – Beneficial for muscle re-education. • Sawtooth Wave – Supports circulatory and lymphatic stimulation. • Pulsed DC – Effective in wound healing and pain relief. • Russian (Burst AC) – Stronger stimulation, used in muscle rehab. In a conventional therapeutic setting, different wave forms are about comfort NOT targeting different tissues or depths..

Scene 51 (17m 46s)

[Audio] Key Insight: Efficiency Matters. The Modified Square Wave is considered the gold standard for true microcurrent therapy. • Stable and efficient. • When used in the microamp range, Delivers sub-sensory current. without triggering unwanted nerve or muscle response. • Optimized for ATP production and cellular healing. VenturaDesigns' systems follow this waveform standard to deliver superior results..

Scene 52 (18m 15s)

[Audio] The Tsunami Wave™. Dr. Wing's Legacy in Microcurrent..

Scene 53 (18m 27s)

[Audio] 🌊 What is the Tsunami Wave™? • Developed by Dr. Thomas Wing, pioneer of clinical microcurrent. • Not an actual waveform—it's a delivery rhythm. • Alternates polarity every 2.5 seconds. • Mimics the natural 'push-pull' of biological systems. • Resembles oceanic wave buildup and release (Tidal Wave)..

Scene 54 (18m 49s)

[Audio] 🔁 Push–Pull Polarity Reversal. • Polarity reverses every 2.5 seconds (positive ↔ negative). • Encourages ionic shifting and deep energy movement. • Avoids tissue charge buildup. • Gently stimulates tissue resonance without sensory overload..

Scene 55 (19m 8s)

[Audio] Amplified Biological Effect. • Starts with sub-sensory current. • Leads to cumulative biological response: - ATP upregulation. - Parasympathetic activation. - Neural re-patterning. • Total response > original output (according to Dr. Wing)..

Scene 56 (19m 27s)

[Audio] Tsunami vs Traditional Waveforms. • Tsunami: long, slow, polarity-reversing. • Traditional: fast pulses (square, sine, biphasic). • Tsunami: no twitching, regenerative effect. • Traditional: strong sensation, often used for contraction..

Scene 57 (19m 51s)

[Audio] Clinical Application. • Best for facial rejuvenation, pain, and neuromodulation. • AXION Wave 0.3Hz closely mirrors Tsunami cadence. • Combine with 7.83Hz for layered regenerative effects. • Tsunami = electrical acupuncture: energy-based healing..

Scene 58 (20m 11s)

[Audio] Oscilloscope vs. Real-World Current. An oscilloscope shows a two-dimensional graph of an electrical waveform: • X-axis = Time • Y-axis = Voltage or Current This is the ideal signal in a controlled environment. But when current enters the body, the waveform is altered due to: • Skin resistance • Tissue capacitance • Fluid conductivity and muscle density The signal becomes diffused and irregular — **no longer resembling its original shape**. This effect is often described as an **electrically dispersed field**, rather than a clean waveform. **Bottom Line:** What you see on the scope is not what the tissue experiences. That's why waveform design and stable delivery matter for clinical results..

Scene 59 (21m 3s)

[Audio] Conductivity Media. The best method to deliver the microcurrent energy is through a two wet Q- Tip probe method. Use a liquid that conducts electricity. Best is a normal saline solution. Do not use any oil based products. Oil does NOT conduct electricity. NEW.

Scene 60 (21m 23s)

[Audio] Wet Q-Tips also gives you the opportunity to soak the tips in different solutions to deliver an iontophoresis effect from the probes. Why Wet Q-Tips are Used Do Not USe Plain Tap Water. If you use metal tips and conductive gel the current, following the path of least resistance, will travel through the gel and never penetrate the skin. With wet Q-Tips only the area under the tips is a path for the electricity, forcing the current down and then over to the other probe. The three pictures above show the differences in electrical conductivity between Metal to Metal, Q-Tip with tap water and Q-Tip with Saline solution. You see you get the same conductivity with a properly moistened Q-Tip as you do with metal to metal. Saline is far superior to normal tap water. Use a proper saline solution for best results..

Scene 61 (22m 18s)

[Audio] uraDesigns all rights reserved Using Probes. Clinical microcurrent devices also use probes to both measure/locate points and to provide stimulation. The best probes use a moistened Q-Tip as the probe tip. This has the advantage of being very sanitary, as you dispose of the tips between patients and providing a high degree of conductivity. An added benefit is that you can treat through light clothing. There are three types of Q-Tip materials to consider. These materials relate to the composition of the shafts. They are plastic, paper and wood. Avoid the plastic shaft Q-Tips. The plastic does not conduct electricity. The author prefers the paper shaft Q-Tip. The wood shaft does have an advantage when using for Auricular searching and stimulation. You can insert the cotton swab into the shaft and cut the wood shaft at a 45 degree angle. The exposed wood shaft is now the active tip and will conduct electricity through a small fine point. But for general use a regular paper shaft Q-Tip will work best. Moisten the swab with tap water. NOTE: Do NOT use distilled water. Break off about 1/2" of the tip. Insert Tip into the probe shaft. After you have inserted the tip into the shaft, stroke the tip downward so cotton fibers form a seal around the probe shaft. This will provide the best contact possible. Remoisten after every 3-4 points or every muscle..

Scene 62 (23m 46s)

[Audio] New Conductive Tips for AXION Probes. The Death of Q-Tips? After months of testing and prototyping, I am proud to announce the release of a new type of probe tip that slips over any and all AXION probes. These tips use a high tech conductive filament and are made using a 3D printer. This tip replaces the need to use wet q-tips to de- liver the microcurrent from the micro5 and other brands of microcurrent devices. Tips only fit AXION micro5 probes. This is the first major change in how true microcurrent is delivered since 1976. Package of 5 tips sells for only $25. These tips are permanent and easily cleaned with an alcohol wipe or mild soapy water. Size and style may vary from picture. Insert probe shaft into the tip. Fit is designed to be snug. Don't force the fit, apply slow firm pressure. For microcurrent machines, dip the tips in a small amount of saline solution and use as you normally would. You can also use a small amount of gel or product with these tips. Put gel just on the tips, not on the entire face. AXION tips can be cleaned with a mild soapy solution or alcohol swab and can be used over and over again..

Scene 63 (25m 4s)

[Audio] Layered Microcurrent with AXION Duo Spa. Dual Frequencies, Double Results in Half the Time..

Scene 64 (25m 17s)

[Audio] What Is Layered Microcurrent? Layered Microcurrent is an AXION-exclusive protocol using the Duo Spa and Combiner to deliver two different frequencies at the same time to the same treatment area. It reduces session time while enhancing results..

Scene 100 (37m 19s)

[Audio] The Tactical Error in Anti-Aging Therapy. Why Muscle-Only Focus Misses the Real Cause of Aging..

Scene 101 (37m 28s)

[Audio] The Misguided Focus: Muscle-Centric Microcurrent. • Many programs focus only on tightening muscles. • But facial aging is NOT caused by weak muscles. • True cause: collagen and elastin breakdown in the dermis. Muscle tone without structural support is like a beam on a crumbling foundation..

Scene 102 (37m 49s)

[Audio] The Biological Truth: It's in the Matrix. • The extracellular matrix (ECM) is what keeps skin youthful: - Collagen = strength and firmness. - Elastin = flexibility and recoil. - Hyaluronic Acid = hydration and plumpness. • Aging = breakdown of the ECM, not muscle fatigue..

Scene 103 (38m 15s)

[Audio] Components of the Extracellular Matrix. Fibrous Proteins: - Collagen: Strength. - Elastin: Flexibility. - Reticular fibers: Supportive mesh. Ground Substance: - GAGs (e.g., Hyaluronic Acid). - Proteoglycans (playing vital roles in tissue structure,). - Glycoproteins (e.g., Fibronectin, Laminin). Water and Ions: - Maintains hydration and transport..

Scene 104 (38m 50s)

[Audio] Functions of the Extracellular Matrix. - Structural support and scaffolding (Scaffolds, typically made of polymeric biomaterials, provide the structural support for cell attachment and subsequent tissue development.) - Guides cell adhesion and migration. - Provides mechanical properties (firmness, elasticity). - Reservoir for growth factors. - Facilitates cell signaling (The process by which a cell responds to substances outside the cell through signaling molecules found on the surface of and inside the cell)..

Scene 105 (39m 26s)

[Audio] Relevance to Facial Rejuvenation. - Microcurrent stimulates fibroblast activity. - Boosts collagen and elastin production. - Enhances ECM remodeling. - Supports skin hydration and tone. - Targets signs of aging at the cellular matrix level..

Scene 106 (39m 45s)

[Audio] Microcurrent's Real Power: Bioelectric Signaling. • Stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. • Boosts ATP by 500% (Cheng study, 1982). • Reduces inflammation and supports tissue repair. Sub-sensory current, right waveform = real anti-aging effect..

Scene 107 (40m 9s)

[Audio] Strategic Shift: From Muscles to Matrix. • Prioritize fibroblast stimulation, not muscle contractions. • Increase ATP, support collagen and elastin production. • Use intelligent microcurrent delivery systems (e.g., AXION Wave). A lifted face with no collagen is fragile. A supported face with collagen is youthful from within..

Scene 108 (40m 35s)

[Audio] Unfortunately, many current microcurrent facial rejuvenation techniques have evolved into a "Jackson Pollack" approach. Smear on an abundance of conductive gel and move the microcurrent wands over the face for 45-60 min. No real respect for the anato- my of the face or how the body responds to electrical biological signals. Dr. Joe Ventura has spent the last year developing new techniques to make microcurrent more specific, more targeted in an effort to reduce time and increase results. He chose the name "Microcurrent Sculpting" because it better defines the goal of identifying problem areas and using new techniques and tools to "sculpt" the face to the best it can be. "I believe I have put together the most comprehensive and logical ap- proach to re-defining the face using a combination of approaches, all within the same time-frame of what is currently being done.".

Scene 109 (41m 30s)

[Audio] Three Approaches. GTO Technique:Tone/Relax Facial Muscles of Expression. Microcurrent Face Mask with Serum to Lay Down Collagen, Elastin and Re-hydrate the Skin. Use a Gua Sha tool (T Blade) to refine and "sculpt" under the eyes and along the jaw line..

Scene 110 (41m 56s)

[Audio] Muscles are usually designed to move a bone. To make this happen securely, the muscle fibers are attached to a tougher material called tendon, which attaches to a tougher material called bone. Normally a muscle is anchored to bone at each end, called the Origin/Insertion points. The exceptions to this rule are the muscles of facial expression. The attachments there are bone to connective tissue or even connective tissue to connective tissue. The reason for such a soft connection is because the muscles of facial expression are designed to move skin and not bones. Non-verbal communication cues are important in the animal world and humans are no exception. Slight movements in the facial muscles send out visual signals of happiness, anger, disgust, contempt, etc. Our emotions are reflected in our face. The interplay be- tween all these muscles is what creates the signals so the muscles must be supple and be able to move in different directions. This comes at a cost. We know the production of substances that keep the skin looking young like Hyaluronic acid, Collagen and Elastin tapers off around age 25. Add to this the ef- fects of gravity on the loosely attached face muscles, weight gain and fluid retention of age and you have a lot a factors working against the muscles of the face. The Microcurrent Facial Sculpting technique targets only the parts of the face that contribute to the overall appearance deficiency of the client. Backed by anatomy, physiology and science, we have created a precision method of microcurrent facial rejuvenation that will revolutionize the industry..

Scene 111 (43m 41s)

[Audio] Few realize the GTO procedure was actually developed by two well known doctors of chiropractic almost 40 years ago. In a five-page article titled The Electrification of Applied Kinesiology: The Golgi Tendon Organ, published in a Chiropractic journal in July 1977, the author Thomas Wing D.C. describes his work with George Goodheart D.C. "A breakthrough in electrification of Goodheart's Golgi Tendon technique promises to revolutionize treatment of trauma and whiplash." Wing, 1977. Wing was referring to a discovery made by Goodheart a few years earlier. Goodheart found he could influence the tone of a muscle by using hard manual pressure on the origin/insertion in a particular direction. This movement was named the Golgi Tendon technique, after the collection of knobby nerve endings in the fasciles of a tendon. Stroked in one direction and the muscle toned, the opposite and it relaxed..

Scene 112 (44m 45s)

[Audio] Wing and Goodheart were close friends. At the time of Goodheart's GTO technique discovery, Wing was expanding the use of his recently invented microcurrent machine. Wing originally developed this machine to deliver electro-acupuncture treatments, but quickly found that passing the current through injured areas seemed to speed up healing times. After learning of the GTO technique, Wing wondered if the manual pressure over the GTO could be replaced by an electrical signal, a more natural stimulus than pressure on the GTO. The above referenced 1977 published article by Wing chronicled his amazing clinical success of electrifying the GTO technique. By 1980 this technique, through the help of Good- heart's association with the U.S. Olympic medical staff, was being used by world class athletes to help manage the normal "tweaks" of their sports. Eventually athletes like Carl Lewis were purchasing their own Wing machines so the technique was always available to them. Fast forward to 1985. Attention was focused on the facial muscles of expression. Since these muscles also had GTO influence, a technique was developed to tone or relax those muscles in an effort to reduce wrinkle lines. This technique worked so well, Wing and his group of collaborators started teaching the technique to others. The author learned this technique from Drs. Baker and Doyle in Kansas City and began offering this "Non-surgical Face lift" to KC residents in 1985. This service description quickly raised the ire of plastic surgeons who felt they owned the term "face lift" and the procedure was eventually called microcurrent facial rejuvenation, or MFR. At some point, Wing sold a version of his machine to a cosmetics company and MFR jumped from the healthcare field to the cosmetics field, where it continues today..

Scene 113 (46m 46s)

[Audio] My Microcurrent facial training philosophy is simple: Respect the Physiology of the Body. Respect the Anatomy of the Face..

Scene 114 (46m 56s)

[Audio] Microcurrent Facial Rejuvenation. MFR is a three step procedure. Step 1 is to tone or relax the facial muscles of expression, according to the action of the muscle. Figure 1 shows the common problem areas of facial wrinkles and the underlying muscles of influence. Notice that many of the facial muscles have origin surfaces that are bony but insertion surfaces that are soft tissue. This is espe- cially true around the nose and mouth. The aging process weakens the insertion areas leading to wrinkles and sag- ging. Using the electrified GTO technique developed by Good- heart and Wing, sending specific microcurrent signals via Q-Tips moistened in a special electrolyte solution, is a quick method of reducing facial wrinkles. Step 2 is the Ion Pump Mask® technique designed to increase local ATP, protein synthesis and collagen production. Step 3 is facial contouring with the T Blade..

Scene 115 (48m 0s)

[Audio] 2020 VenturaDesigns all rights reserved Look closely at the muscles of the face and you will see the correlation between wrinkle lines and where muscles attach. By using the GTO technique on targeted facial muscles to either tone or relax you can have a profound and immediate effect on the face..

Scene 116 (48m 22s)

[Audio] Circle the problem areas and focus the GTO probe work on those muscles. Don't waste time on non-problem areas..

Scene 117 (48m 33s)

[Audio] Target Only the Muscles of Facial Expression. The muscles of the GTO technique are know as the "muscles of facial expression", shown in the image. By targeting just these muscles, and knowing which ones to either tone or relax, your technique of facial rejuvenation will be faster and more precise. Time = Money. Less time spent means more profit per procedure..

Although you've led a fairly healthy life, there are some lifestyle habits that still need focus. 6-13 Add three years to your real age to get your skin age. While there is not a lot of dispar- ity between your skin age and your real age, it doesn't hurt to focus on those healthy behav- iors you might have ignored. Do you need to increase fruits and vegetables in your daily diet? Exercise regularly but not excessively? Perhaps you need to reduce stress before it "gets under your skin." 0-5 Your skin age is your real age. Congratulations! Is it too quiet, creating awkwardness? • What Do They Smell? Scent memory is powerful. Is there a subtle, intentional aroma that speaks to tranquility and cleanliness? Or the leftover smell of lunch, mildew, or cleaning chemicals? • What Do They See? Look at everything: Are chairs straightened? Are retail shelves organized or dusty? Are surfaces free from clutter? Is your reception area warm and welcoming — or cold and transactional? • How Are They Greeted? Is the receptionist smiling, standing, and using their name? Or buried in a screen or phone? If you're solo, is there signage or instruction that makes a new client feel confident, not confused?.

Scene 199 (1h 50m 42s)

[Audio] Amenities and Subtle Comforts. • Refreshments. Is there a water station, tea, or even a small bowl of mints or protein bars? It's not just about hydration — it's about hospitality. • Temperature & Seating. Is the room too cold or too warm? Are chairs clean and comfortable? Do clients feel at ease while they wait? • Restroom Check. Is your restroom spotless, stocked, and stylish — or does it feel like a forgotten corner of the business?.
