The workforce is increasingly adopting a sedentary lifestyles, working behind computer screens, sitting at desks, staying in sitting positions most of the time, or standing in the same position for a long duration, as a result most of the workforce/employees tend to forget how to become healthy; in addition, stress at the workplace and unhealthy behavior persists in all sectors, wherein most of us are unaware of healthy diets and are unable to engage in physical activities. Healthy lifestyle in the office is important to be productive and to motivate employees in the company. Here in SSS, we have variety of physical and wellness programs that us employees could participate..

For us SSS employees we have our Annual Physical Exam (APE) that is being conducted by the Health Care Department to monitor our health and seek advice from our doctors..

Evidence shows that drinking too much or at the wrong time can be harmful especially when drinking while operating a machine, electrical equipment. Ladders, etc. Drinking alcohol before work or become coming on shift or even breaks can affect employee's work performance. Reducing tobacco and alcohol consumption benefits the user directly and improves office interpersonal relations, thereby promoting a healthy and safe workplace.
