[Audio] So, where do organization I belong? And what am I doing in my organization? How do I manage my organization effectively with respect to their individual culture, behavior and needs, social status and religious?.
[Audio] I have belonged to the Department of Education organization specifically in my home town here in the Real District as a teacher for almost 7 years and counting..
[Audio] I was assigned as a multi-grade teacher in the farthest barangay in our district. My first two years I was handling kindergarten, grade one, grade two, and grade three, it was very difficult for me to manage those four different grades at the same time because each grade has individuals with diverse behaviors, cultures, and learning styles..
[Audio] As a new teacher without any experience handling a multi-grade class, I was experiencing "educational culture shock," and I asked myself, What a wonderful word! Haha, just kidding, sir. But seriously, my thought before was to quit because I didn't know where to start. Can I teach them all at the same time? Can I deliver them a quality education? And to cut the story short, yeah, I am doing better now, but not so perfect in my organization as a teacher handling a multi-grade class..
[Audio] Special thanks to the father of multi-grade here in Quezon Province, Dr. Walter M. Gallarosa. By providing us with a variety of quality seminars, strategies, and techniques for handling a multi-grade class..
[Audio] As a teacher, learners is in within our organization. Inside the classroom we are their second parent, that correct their wrong doing, instill the good values and guide them to become a better person with respect to their behavior and culture. We need to understand the disparity of their learning style so that teaching and learning process takes place effectively by providing them different strategies that will fit to their needs to ensure that we can give them a quality education..
[Audio] Now let's talk about conflict and my organization and how do I manage it. So guys conflicts arise when a person fails to live up to one set of expectations due to adherence to another set of requirements. Conflicts also happen because of different behaviors, different perspectives and goals. Nonetheless, one study found that a more diverse group is more creative and productive..
[Audio] Students vs. student's conflict Student vs. teacher, administrator and teacher conflict, and teacher's misunderstandings of their co-teachers All of these things have happened or are happening to us. This conflict occurs in our workplace because we have diverse behaviors, beliefs, learning needs, perceptions, and goals in life..
[Audio] So how do I manage conflict in my organization? This is only my personal experiences and I share it to you guys as might be your reference in dealing conflict and your organization. First of all Good communication and a lowered ego are a good start to resolving and managing conflicts. Listen to his or her disagreement, so that we both understand where the conflict starts and prioritize the areas of conflict, then make an agreement. Also, to resolve the conflict, just focus on the events and behaviors, not on their personalities. But sometimes, we need the help of our superior to resolve the conflicts that we might be experiencing..
[Audio] Hence, establishing a good working relationship is the most astute decision in our happy workplace. However, we cannot deny the fact that conflict in one organization is something natural and somehow beneficial to the organization and to the group of individuals for their part of growing..
[Audio] Thank you guys for watching hope you enjoy and learned something for me. Byeee.
