Innovatec’s Automatic Candling and  Transfer (ACT) system has a unique  concept specially designed to meet  standards in modern hatcheries.

After candling this system separates  infertile and fertile eggs. The fertile  eggs are placed in a hatcher basket.

Biosecurity, production quality and  production capacity are not a  trade-off in this system.

Automatic Candling &  Transfer (LEAN) (ACTL)

Not every hatchery needs a high  capacity system. Innovatec’s ACT(L)  is there to support smaller hatcheries  without sacrificing accuracy.

The system is equipped with an  extreme friendly egg removal setup,  and can be operated by two operators.

The CLEANchick™ detects living embryos with   unmatched accuracy. The contact-free   methods accurately determines the presence   of an heartbeat as early as day 9. Making this   machine also suitable for early candling   applications.           The included traditional candling technology   is used to further improve the accuracy of the   identification of infertile eggs. Making it   possible to determine the presence of exploder   eggs very accurate.

Once identified by the CLEANchick™,  the next step is to take out the exploder  eggs as quickly and as biosecure as  possible. No contamination should take  place. The Exploder Removal System (ERS™)  was developed to just do that. The ERS™  removes all exploders and stores the  eggs in a special waste system to  protect the biosecurity of the hatchery. The system comes with its own  disinfection system to disinfect the  affected area and improve hatchability.

To avoid being affected by the conditions in the  hatchery the system comes with its own suction  system. The removed exploders will be stored in  the waste collection system or in a disposal station  next to the machine. The ERS™ has unmatched biosecurity. Together with the CLEANchick™ the ERS™ has a  proven record of improving hatchability and  reducing First Week Mortality.

Handling equipment for trays and baskets needs to be as gentle as the candling  equipment itself.

Innovatec’s candling equipment can be  connected to a range of setter trolley  unloaders, empty hatcher baskets  destackers, and full hatcher basket stackers.

For every type of setter trolley and for every  type of setter tray Innovatec has a solution.

Innovatec’s unloaders, stackers, and destackers  are designed to keep up the production speed.  All handling automation is designed to limit the  impact on the product. The transfer stacker is designed to carefully place  flled hatcher baskets on top of its dolly, in order to  reduce the impact on operators and products.

Automatic dolly transport and connected walking  beams take out any need for operators to be  involved in the process.
