[Audio] FRESSH. Rules for picking products correctly. .
[Audio] Hi team Zepto. I am ZepGuru ! Your Learning buddy. My superpower is... to make you a super-packer! You can also be a super hero like me by keeping the inventory in best condition. In this module, I am going to tell you the rules of FRESH inventory..
[Audio] Now you must Be thinking, what is this all about? And how will it help me as a packer? So…Let us understand FRESH ! FRESH is the way to send quality products to customers. Each letter stands for a rule that we must follow. F stands for Fungus and Insect-free products. Before picking any product, Check for fungus in bread, fruits, vegetables, etc. Also, check for insects in rice, wheat, dal, etc. Fungus and insects are dangerous for health so do a 6-side check of the pack before picking any item..
[Audio] Dear Associates, Let us learn more about FRESH ! R stands for Right Product in Right Bin. Follow category like food, non-food, dry, chiller, freezer, etc. to put away products correctly. Put product in right bin so there is no confusion while picking up the items and the customer does not get any wrong product. Keep Food and NON-Food products separately. For example- You cannot keep items like detergents or mosquito cream next to food items like chips or chocolates. Just remember - Sorted inventory… sorted life !.
[Audio] Let's understand about Expiry dates now ! E in FRESH stands for Expiry Check. Put the last date of the month as expiry date when a clear date is not given. For example- if Expiry date is shown in the 1st image is February, 2023. So, the Expiry date considered will be- 28th February 2023. When Expiry date is not present, check best before date. Do not pack products whose best-before date has passed. Please note : While calculating expiry date manually, update the correct Expiry date in the system while doing put away of items. Remember- Wrong update of Expiry date will lead to bad customer experience and poor rating..
[Audio] Too little or too much inventory creates problems… Let me explain what is shortage and overage. Shortage – Less items are put away or picked by packer. As we can see in the picture, 1 item less is picked. Overage – More items are put-away or picked. As we can see here 1 item more is picked. Match items in bag with order items before handshake. Handshake is when the packer drops off the packed bag at the pigeon-hole and the rider or Zepton collects it. Make sure to pack products in the right amount. Specially check if it is a 'pack of 2 or 3 products' in the list..
[Audio] Let us learn about sorting similar products. Remember- S stands for Similar Never Together. Sometimes, items can look alike as their packaging is not very different. Like 2 variants or types from the same brand. Generally, shampoo bottles, soaps, food items like chips and drinks can have these issues. Similar looking products should not be kept near each other. It can confuse you and result in wrong order packing. Save your time and keep them at distance from each other..
[Audio] Finally we come to H in FRESH. H stands for Hole and Damage check. Would you ever like to receive a damaged product? No! right? Holes & damages cause negative customer experience! Packer should Do a quick 2-3 seconds damage check before packing any item. Check packed items for holes, leakage, puffed pack, tearing and other damages..
[Audio] Congratulations, you have completed this module. All the best !.
